Hello!

My name is Jessica Reid.

I am a Staff Data Engineer with over a decade of experience building data platform and infrastructure solutions at internet scale, currently working at FanDuel.

I graduated from the University of Glasgow with a 1st Class MSci (Hons) in Computing Science, and I now live in Falkirk.

My day-to-day work spans Java, Python, and TypeScript across AWS (Lambda, EMR, DynamoDB, Kafka), Kubernetes, and Terraform, with a focus on cloud-native architecture, CI/CD, and cost-optimised infrastructure.

Outside of work you'll usually find me baking, cooking, or out taking photographs.
